A note about COD4 and PunkBuster

For Tournament play we use the promod mod, which requires PunkBuster to be enabled, so we strongly recommend you connect to an internet hosted COD4 game, so your PB client can automatically update to the latest version.

Why have we written this note? Because in the past we have experienced a few minor issues with server/client versions - not a major problem to resolve, but one that can be easily avoided by following the recommendation above.

An even bigger note about STEAM!

General - make sure you connect before you turn up (while you have an internet connection) - and set to offline mode

UT3 - run directly from install directory
i.e not via STEAM
